Quick answer
According to SkyGate's listings read on 29 September 2026, the five tickets are Adachi Museum of Art in Shimane, Uzu-no-Michi in Naruto with an optional Eddy museum, the Mt. Senkoji Ropeway in Onomichi, Okayama Castle, and the Yokai Art Museum on Shodoshima. The options that matter are Uzu-no-Michi walkway, museum or both, the ropeway one way or return, and the Yokai Art Museum alone, with the Onogawa museum, or at night.
The short answer
According to the addresses on SkyGate and the operators, these five tickets are in five different places, so nothing here competes with anything else.[11][10][7][4][1] What you are choosing is the option. Three of the five have options that change what you get: Uzu-no-Michi and Eddy at Naruto, the Mt. Senkoji Ropeway at Onomichi, and the Yokai Art Museum on Shodoshima. The other two, Adachi Museum of Art and Okayama Castle, come down to timing.
Naruto: walkway, museum or both
The Tokushima Prefectural Uzu-no-Michi Ticket has six options that are three choices, each with a youth version for ages 13 to 16. Uzu no Michi Admission covers the walkway only, Onaruto Bridge Eddy Memorial Hall Admission covers the museum only, and Uzu no Michi + Onaruto Bridge Eddy Memorial Hall Admission covers both.[1]
The walkway is the whirlpool option. SkyGate describes a 450-metre walkway beneath the Onaruto Bridge, 45 metres above the sea, with glass floor panels.[1] The operator confirms the 45-metre height and says the whirlpools can be seen only in a limited window around the peak of the tidal current, four times a day, with two of those windows inside the walkway's operating hours. It says they appear largest in spring and autumn, and publishes a viewing timetable.[2] SkyGate says whirlpool visibility and size depend on the tidal currents and weather.[1] The operator lists hours of 9:00 to 17:00 from October to February, with entry until 16:30, and closure on the second Monday of March, June, September and December.[2]
Eddy is the explanation option. SkyGate describes interactive exhibits on the whirlpools and the bridge and a 4K 360-degree theatre, and the operator's Japanese site lists a 4K 360-degree theatre, an exhibit on how whirlpools form, and a rooftop deck.[1] The operator says the museum is a three-minute walk from Uzu no Michi and open 9:00 to 17:00, with temporary maintenance closures on 9 June, 8 September, 8 December and 9 March. It has no car park of its own.[3]
XTOUR's reading: take the walkway alone if the whirlpools are the point and you time the visit to the operator's viewing windows, add Eddy if you want the mechanism explained, and take Eddy alone only if the tide does not suit your day.
Onomichi: one way or round trip on Mt. Senkoji
The Mt. Senkoji Ropeway has two options: a One-Way Ticket for one direction only, and a Round-trip Ticket for both. The operator describes a three-minute ride between two stations, Sanroku at the bottom and Sancho at the summit, and says the ropeway is run by Onomichi Bus as designated manager.[5] SkyGate says services normally depart every 15 minutes, with extra cars at busy times, and that the summit has the Senkoji PEAK Observatory and Senkoji Park.[4]
The one-way option only makes sense if you walk the other direction. The operator says the mountain can be walked up or down in about 30 minutes each way, and that the PEAK observatory is open 24 hours a day. The operator also says the ropeway is stopped from 7 to 25 December 2026 for annual maintenance, and that annual inspection is done every December.[6] SkyGate's listing repeats the December dates.[4]
XTOUR's reading: take the round trip if you want the ropeway both ways or are unsure about the walk, and the one-way if you plan to walk down and have read the operator's estimate.
Shodoshima: yokai, origami or the night programme
The Yokai Art Museum Ticket has five options on Shodoshima: Yokai Art Museum Admission, Naoki Onogawa Museum Admission, a COMBO of the two, and Night Museum - Seal the Monster Admission in adult and youth versions for ages 12 to 18.[7] MeiPAM, the operator, describes the Yokai Art Museum as showing more than 800 yokai works, and says the Naoki Onogawa Museum is a separate museum of works by the origami artist Naoki Onogawa, made of tiny folded cranes.[8] SkyGate says the Yokai Art Museum has an audio guide and installations, and that children under 12 enter both museums free.[7]
The Night Museum is described only in SkyGate's option text, as the Yokai Art Museum after dark with an immersive yokai-themed experience. The operator's separate Yokai Bar is an evening bar, which SkyGate's options do not include, so do not read the Night Museum ticket as a bar ticket.[8] On the day XTOUR read the calendar, the Night Museum options had fewer open dates than the daytime ones, the first being 3 October.[7]
XTOUR's reading: the Yokai Art Museum alone is the main visit, the combo adds the Onogawa museum for a broader art visit, and the Night Museum is a different programme rather than a cheaper version of the day.
Adachi Museum of Art
The Adachi Museum of Art Ticket has two options, Admission and Admission (Youth: 15-18 Years), which SkyGate describes as the same general admission covering the gardens, main building, Annex and Rosanjin Hall, differing by age band.[9] Two things matter for timing. SkyGate's option data shows both vouchers valid only until 28 October 2026.[9] The operator's English calendar lists its Main Building Autumn Exhibition from 31 August to 30 November 2026, and an Annex exhibition that runs to 19 October, followed by the 111th Exhibition of the Japan Art Institute from 24 October to 15 November, so what you see in the Annex depends on the date you book. The operator gives the address as 320 Furukawa-cho, Yasugi, Shimane and has a page on a free shuttle bus service that XTOUR did not read in detail.[10] See the Adachi Museum of Art page on XTOUR.
Okayama Castle
The Okayama Castle Ticket has one option, admission to the castle tower and its exhibitions. SkyGate describes a black exterior, gold-leaf roof tiles, displays of Edo-period drawings and excavated objects, a Bizen ware collection, and a first-floor area for trying on a kimono.[11] The operator's Japanese site says the keep's restoration finished in November 2022 and showed keep hours of 9:00 to 17:30 with admission until 17:00 on the day XTOUR read it.[12] SkyGate's listing says children under 15 are free but still need a ticket, and that the tower may close for bad weather or inspections. It does not mention Korakuen garden, so XTOUR treats the garden as a separate venue this ticket does not cover.[11]

Good to know
When does the Mt. Senkoji Ropeway stop running for maintenance?

Can I see the Naruto whirlpools at any time from Uzu-no-Michi?
No, according to the operator, who says the whirlpools can be seen only in a limited window around the peak of the tidal current, four times a day, two of them within the walkway's operating hours. SkyGate's listing likewise says visibility and size depend on the tidal currents and may be affected by weather.
What is the difference between the two Adachi Museum of Art options?
According to SkyGate, both describe the same general admission, and they differ by age band: adult, and youth aged 15 to 18, which is booked by selecting Adult. SkyGate's option data shows both vouchers valid until 28 October 2026.
Does the Okayama Castle ticket include Korakuen garden?
SkyGate's option text names the castle tower and its exhibitions, and does not mention Korakuen garden. XTOUR has not verified any wider coverage, so do not assume the ticket covers the garden.
