Harder Kulm
Harder Kulm is a 1322 m summit above Interlaken, in the municipality of Unterseen, reached by the Harder Railway funicular, with the Two-Lakes Lookout Point platform over Lake Thun and Lake Brienz.
Why go
Harder Kulm is the summit of the Harder above Interlaken; this record is the summit, not the Harderbahn funicular or the Panorama Restaurant Harder Kulm. Jungfraubahnen, which runs the funicular from its valley station near Interlaken Ost, gives the summit as 1322 m. Its page describes the Two-Lakes Lookout Point, a platform with views down to Lake Thun and Lake Brienz and across to the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, a children's playground with a viewpoint, a circular trail through the forest, and alphorn concerts at the restaurant. Although the operator calls it 'Top of Interlaken', Wikidata and OpenStreetMap place the summit in the municipality of Unterseen, not Interlaken, which XTOUR treats as a travel base.
