Heian Jingu is a Shinto shrine at Okazaki Nishitenno-cho 97, Sakyo Ward, Kyoto. Its English site says it was built in 1895 to mark the 1,100th anniversary of the founding of Heiankyo and that its buildings are a 5:8 scale model of the State Hall of the Imperial Palace, arranged around a gravel courtyard. Its four landscape gardens cover about 30,000 square metres and require a paid entry according to the site. The page read on 29 September 2026 did not state hours.
