The Mt. Senkoji Ropeway runs between Sanroku Station (1-3-3 Nagae) in central Onomichi and Sancho Station (20-1 Higashidodo-cho) on the summit of Mt. Senkoji. The operator, Onomichi Bus, describes a three-minute aerial journey. At the top station the operator lists a viewing deck named PEAK, a hilltop park and observation areas over the Onomichi channel and the Seto Inland Sea. Onomichi is a separate city within Hiroshima Prefecture and this record does not belong to the Hiroshima city destination. The operator's site carries a notice about annual inspection and maintenance work; check it for closure dates.
