Why go
Santa Maria delle Grazie is a basilica in central Milan belonging to the Dominican Order; the basilica's site says the church was added to UNESCO's World Heritage List in 1980. Visiting the church is not the same as seeing Leonardo's Last Supper: the basilica's site says the Last Supper museum is a state museum, not run by the friars, on the church square to the left of the main entrance, and that its tickets are booked through the museum's own phone line and website. The basilica's site also says visits are not allowed during services. Service and opening times are set by the basilica, so check its site before you go.
