The Shoko Shuseikan is a historical museum at 9698-1 Yoshino-cho in Kagoshima, next to the garden Sengan-en. Its own website says it is operated by Shimadzu Limited, and the page read on 29 September 2026 gave hours of 9:00 to 17:00 with a closing day on the first Sunday in March. Sengan-en next door has its own address (9700-1 Yoshino-cho, per its site) and the same Shimadzu Limited copyright line, so the two are separate venues under one operator. The operator's pages read do not state the museum's collections, so none are described here.
