Why go
Umm Al Emarat Park is an urban park in Al Mushrif, Abu Dhabi. The park's own history page says it opened in 1982 as Mushrif Park, for women and children only, closed for redevelopment in 2013, reopened to the public in 2015 and was renamed in 2016 in honour of Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak; the site says the park is managed by Sinyar Hospitality. Its home page lists an amphitheatre, an animal barn and petting zoo run with Al Ain Zoo, a botanic garden, a children's garden and a great lawn among its attractions, and the site sells entry tickets online. Visit Abu Dhabi dates the reopening to November 2010, which disagrees with the park's own page; the park's dates are used here.
