It is berthed off Ford Island, which the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum describes as an active military base reached by the public only on shuttle buses that leave the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center every 15 minutes. The association's site, read on 3 October 2026, sells tickets and gave opening hours of 8:00 am to 4:00 pm daily, closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day; check before you travel. It is a separate attraction from the National Park Service's Pearl Harbor National Memorial.
