The Ellis Island National Museum of Immigration occupies the Main Immigration Building on Ellis Island in New York Harbor, a National Park Service site. The National Park Service page for Ellis Island, read on 3 October 2026, names the Main Immigration Building and its Registry Room, also known as the Great Hall, and says visitors arrive by ferry. NPS lists the park under both New Jersey and New York and gives a Jersey City, New Jersey mailing address.
