Hatta Heritage Village is a restored historic settlement in the town of Hatta, visited as a whole; it is a different place from the JA Hatta Fort Hotel and from Hatta Dam. Visit Hatta, the Hatta site published by Dubai Holding, says the mountain village has been preserved and restored to show how people lived, with households, defence, economics and farming, and that more than 30 small and large structures in the complex have been restored. The same site describes the Hatta falaj, a traditional water supply running behind the Heritage Village. The village's own operator page was not read, so check visiting arrangements before you go.
