Putrajaya Lake is the man-made lake that forms the dominant landscape of Putrajaya, Malaysia's federal administrative centre. Perbadanan Putrajaya, the city's authority, says the lake was designed and built for water sports, recreation and as a tourist attraction, and that the Putrajaya Wetland was built to keep its water quality high by treating surface run-off. Cruise Tasik Putrajaya, run by Marina Putrajaya Sdn Bhd, has operated lake cruises since its launch on 30 August 2003 from Jeti Putra at Putra Bridge in Presint 1. Tours from Kuala Lumpur combine a cruise on the lake with views of the city's government buildings and bridges.
