Genting Highlands
Genting Highlands is a hill resort on the Pahang-Selangor border in Malaysia, which Tourism Pahang says was founded in 1965. It is run as the Resorts World Genting development, with attractions at different elevations, from the Genting SkyWorlds and Skytropolis theme parks near the summit to Eufloria and the golf course at mid-hill. Two cable cars, the Genting SkyWay and the Awana SkyWay, link the mid-hill stations with the top, where the operator puts the Awana SkyWay's upper station at 1,725 m above sea level.

Johor Bahru is a city and the state capital of Johor, at the southern tip of Peninsular Malaysia. ESCAPE Johor Bahru is in Paradigm Mall on Jalan Skudai, and LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort lies west of the city in Iskandar Puteri, a separate municipality that its operator gives as the resort's address.

Kuala Lumpur
Kuala Lumpur is the capital city of Malaysia and a federal territory of about 244 km², bordered by the state of Selangor. The PETRONAS Twin Towers and Kuala Lumpur Tower stand in its centre, while Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) lies outside the city in Sepang, Selangor, linked to KL Sentral station by the KLIA Ekspres train.

Kuala Selangor
Kuala Selangor is a town on the Selangor River in Kuala Selangor District, on the Straits of Malacca coast of Selangor. Boats leave from its jetties to the Sky Mirror sandbar offshore, and at night for firefly trips on the river. Visit Selangor lists three firefly jetties: Kampung Bukit Belimbing, Kampung Kuantan and Pasir Penambang.

Langkawi
Langkawi is an archipelago in the Malaysian state of Kedah that LADA, its development authority, describes as 99 forested tropical islands, with Kuah as the main town on the largest island. LADA says UNESCO recognised the archipelago as a Global Geopark in 2007, with three geoforest parks: Kilim Karst, Machinchang Cambrian and Dayang Bunting Marble. Ferries from Kuala Kedah, Kuala Perlis and Satun in Thailand arrive at Kuah Jetty.

Melaka (Malacca City) is the capital of the Malaysian state of Melaka, on the Straits of Malacca. Its historic centre is part of the UNESCO World Heritage property "Melaka and George Town, Historic Cities of the Straits of Malacca", inscribed in 2008, which UNESCO describes as shaped by over 500 years of trading and cultural exchange between East and West.

Penang
Penang is a Malaysian state made up of Penang Island and a strip of the mainland, Seberang Perai, linked by ferry and two road bridges. Its capital, George Town, is part of the UNESCO World Heritage property Melaka and George Town, Historic Cities of the Straits of Malacca, inscribed in 2008, where UNESCO says George Town represents the British era from the end of the 18th century. Above the city, Penang Hill is part of the Penang Hill Biosphere Reserve in UNESCO's Man and the Biosphere Programme.
