The Roman Bridge of Córdoba is a sixteen-arched bridge of Roman origin over the Guadalquivir in Córdoba, Andalusia, much rebuilt since.
Why go
The Roman Bridge crosses the Guadalquivir in Córdoba. Córdoba's tourism site says it was built in the 1st century BC and has been remodelled several times, that its main structure is medieval and that the most recent intervention dates from 1876. The same page says it has sixteen arches, four pointed and the rest semicircular, and that a 16th-century statue of Saint Raphael by Bernabé Gómez del Río stands at the centre of the parapet.
