Why go
Setas de Sevilla, also called the Metropol Parasol, is a timber structure over the Plaza de la Encarnación in Seville whose roof carries walkways and a viewpoint the operator calls the Mirador 360º. The operator's FAQ says the way up starts underground: visitors go down to the basement level beside the entrance to the Antiquarium and, after getting a ticket, take a lift to the roof. Its pages say tickets are sold online and at the ticket office on level -1, and that a booking can be changed or cancelled with a refund up to two hours before the chosen time. The general ticket, according to the same pages, includes the viewpoint, a multisensory film and night-time access for the Aurora light show. The Antiquarium beneath the structure, which the operator describes as a Roman archaeological site, is a separate subject.
