Why go
Yakutiye Medrese stands in the centre of Erzurum, in eastern Türkiye. Wikidata dates it to 1310 and records it as part of the Anatolian Seljuk Madrasahs, a serial site on UNESCO's Tentative List; it has an attached tomb tower (kümbet). The Ministry of Culture and Tourism uses the building as the Erzurum Turkish-Islamic Arts and Ethnography Museum. It is a separate monument from the Çifte Minareli Medrese, about half a kilometre away.

In central Erzurum. According to the Ministry's turkishmuseums.com listing, open 08:00–19:00 (ticket office 18:30) from 1 May to 1 October and 08:00–17:00 (ticket office 16:30) in winter, closed on Mondays; the Yakutiye district governorship instead says it can be visited every day, so confirm a Monday visit. Fee: €3 for foreign visitors per the Ministry's DÖSİMM schedule; Müzekart for Turkish citizens.
