UNESCO World Heritage townscape

City of Safranbolu (UNESCO World Heritage property)

The Ottoman-era quarters inscribed by UNESCO in 1994: Çukur (the market core), Kıranköy and Bağlar. It has its own place page.

House museum

Kaymakamlar Müze Evi

A restored Ottoman house on Hıdırlık Yokuşu in the Çarşı quarter. The Ministry's Safranbolu Tourism Bureau gives its hours as 09:00–17:30 in winter and 09:00–19:00 in summer; no official fee is published.

Ministry museum

Safranbolu Museum (Kent Tarihi Müzesi) and clock tower

The museum occupies the former government mansion (built 1904–1906, restored 2000–2006); the Ministry's bureau says it is open every day except Monday, 09:00–17:30. The Ministry's DÖSİMM fee schedule lists 'Safranbolu Müzesi' as Müzekart-valid and free. The adjacent clock tower was built in 1794–1797 by İzzet Mehmet Paşa.

Historic caravanserai and bath

Cinci Han and Cinci Hamamı

Built in 1645; the Ministry's bureau says the han has been restored and runs as lodging with 63 rooms, and the hamam still operates with separate women's and men's sections. No hours or fee are published.

Hilltop viewpoint and tombs

Hıdırlık Tepesi

A hill above Çarşı with the tombs of Hasan Paşa (1845) and Hıdır Paşa and a memorial tomb to Dr Ali Yaver Ataman, per the Ministry's bureau. No fee is published.
