Emaar SkyView Istanbul: where it is, SkyWalk and tickets

Where Emaar SkyView is, and why the address matters

Emaar SkyView is on the Asian side of Istanbul. The operator places it on the 47th and 48th floors of the Address Hotel, the tower that rises beside Emaar Square Mall in Ünalan, Üsküdar.[2] The operator's published address is Libadiye Caddesi No:82, 34700 Üsküdar.[1]

The Skygate listing for the same attraction displays a different location: Gümüşsuyu, İnönü Caddesi, Beyoğlu.[7] Beyoğlu is on the European side, across the Bosphorus. None of the operator pages checked for this guide mentions a Beyoğlu site, and XTOUR has not verified what stands at the address the listing shows. Treat the operator's location as the place to go, and do not plan transport around the listing's map pin.

Three different points are involved, and each has its own role:

• The attraction is the viewing terrace on floors 47 and 48.[2]
• The building is the Address Hotel tower next to the mall, but visitors do not enter through the hotel.[2]
• The entrance is on level minus two of Emaar Square Mall, where a reception area and the ticket desk are, and from where staff take visitors up by lift.[2]

Where a voucher bought elsewhere is presented is a fourth question. The Skygate listing describes direct entry with a voucher and gives no separate meeting point, yet the address attached to the voucher is the same Beyoğlu one.[7] XTOUR has not verified how that is resolved at the door. Ask Skygate in writing, before paying, to confirm that the voucher is presented at Emaar Square Mall level minus two.

What you see and do on floors 47 and 48

The operator describes a 360-degree view from 300 metres, with both open-air and enclosed viewing areas.[1] Its SkyWalk page names the Galata Bridge, the Golden Horn, Kadıköy and the Anatolian shore among the things below.[3] This is a view from the Asian shore, looking west across the Bosphorus. Haze and low cloud decide how far you see on the day, so choose the visit for the height and the outlook, not for one named landmark.

Besides the viewing areas, the operator lists three things that need nothing more than the SkyView ticket:

• Sky Fun, on the 47th floor, is a seesaw installed at height and pitched at visitors who want a jolt of adrenaline.[1]
• Sky Cafe, on the 48th floor, serves coffee and snacks.[1]
• Sky Bar, also on the 48th floor, has a menu of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.[1]

The operator's own planning tip is to take a ticket for about 45 minutes before sunset, so that one visit covers the change from daylight to evening.[2] Sunset time moves through the year, so work it out for your date first.

Only personal bags go upstairs. The operator says suitcases and travel luggage must be left at the information desk on mall level minus three and collected afterwards.[3]

SkyWalk is a separate ticket at the operator

SkyWalk is a glass-floored terrace on the 47th floor.[3] The operator is explicit that a SkyWalk ticket must be bought in addition to the SkyView entry ticket.[1] Its FAQ repeats the point: visiting SkyWalk requires a separate entry ticket besides the SkyView one.[3] A visitor who dislikes see-through floors can therefore buy SkyView alone and lose nothing else.

The operator calls SkyWalk the longest glass-floored walkway in Europe.[1] That is the operator's own claim and XTOUR has not verified it. The operator's figures are also not consistent: one paragraph of its SkyWalk page gives a length of 27 metres and a depth of 2.70 metres, while another paragraph on the same page describes a glass walkway 30 metres wide.[3] The group's site uses the 27-metre figure.[5]

The operator says visitors may photograph on the walkway with their own phones and cameras, and that professional photographers also work there.[3] It adds that no reservation is required, although it recommends buying ahead for weekends and holiday periods.[3]

Getting to Emaar Square Mall

The operator's directions all lead to the mall, not to the hotel.

• By metro, the operator's route is the M4 line to Ünalan station and then a walk to Emaar Square Mall.[2] Metro İstanbul lists Ünalan as the fourth station from Kadıköy, after Ayrılık Çeşmesi and Acıbadem.[6]
• From the European side, the operator suggests Marmaray to Ayrılık Çeşmesi, a change to the M4, and Ünalan two stops later.[2]
• By bus, the operator names the 320A from Üsküdar, which runs along Libadiye Caddesi, and lines 14ES, 8E, 15BK and 15ÇK from the Kadıköy side to the Mobilyacılar Sitesi stop.[2] It also advises checking the municipality's transport app because timetables change.[2]
• By ferry, the operator's suggestion is to cross from Eminönü, Karaköy or Beşiktaş to Üsküdar and continue on the 320A, or to Kadıköy and continue on the M4.[2]
• By car, the operator says to search for "Emaar Square Mall", park in the mall's indoor car park and take the lift to the floor with the SkyView entrance.[2]

The operator gives no journey times for these routes.

Children, heights and access

The operator's terms of use say child tickets apply to visitors up to the age of 14, and that visitors under 14 must be accompanied by at least one adult aged 18 or over.[4] A teenager under 14 cannot be sent up alone.

XTOUR did not find a minimum age, height or weight rule for SkyWalk or for the Sky Fun seesaw on the operator pages checked in September 2026. The operator's SkyWalk page says the walkway suits families and children, which is marketing, not a safety rule.[3] Parents of small children should ask the operator directly before buying a SkyWalk ticket. The operator's call centre number is published on every page of its site.[1]

For wheelchair users, the operator's SkyWalk FAQ says the SkyWalk area is fully equipped to support wheelchair users and visitors with any disability, and asks them to email before the visit to arrange support.[3] XTOUR has not verified the route from the mall entrance to the terrace, or between the two floors. Nothing about strollers is published on the pages checked.

The operator's FAQ recommends that pregnant visitors ask a doctor first because of the height.[3]

What the Skygate listing says

The Skygate listing has one option, labelled "Emaar SkyView Istanbul - Admission with SkyWalk Experience".[7] Its description names both SkyView and the SkyWalk, and says visitors may enter at any time whatever time slot they selected.[7] Because the operator sells SkyWalk as a second ticket, make sure the voucher you receive names SkyWalk as well as SkyView.

That option is non-refundable, and the ticket is valid only on the visit date chosen.[7] The listing's dates use the Europe/Istanbul time zone.[7] Entry "at any time" still sits inside the operator's day: when checked in September 2026, the operator's site listed daily opening from 10:00 to 22:00 with the last ticket issued at 21:15.[1] Confirm the current hours on the operator's site before you travel.

The listing states that children under three are free, and it prices children aged 3 to 12 separately from visitors aged 13 and over.[7] XTOUR did not find an under-three rule on the operator's SkyView pages, and the operator's terms run the child ticket up to 14, so the two sets of age bands do not line up.[4]
