The Gold Souk in Deira is a market of shops selling gold and fine jewellery, watches, gemstones and silver. A 2020 Government of Dubai Media Office release traces Deira's traditional markets to 1850 and their growth to their link with the harbour on the Creek, and says the Gold, Perfume, Textile and Spice souks still serve as commercial centres for residents and tourists. The same release names a Gold Souk abra station on the Creek. This record is the market as a whole, not a single shop and not the Deira district.
