The operator describes five platforms of different designs, each 4 by 1 metres, that reach out like a hand over a 400-metre drop, one made entirely of glass and one with a large Baroque picture frame, with views down over Hallstatt and Lake Hallstatt. Its page says the walk starts at the Krippenstein mountain station (section 2 of the cable car), that information boards on the way explain the fauna, flora and geology, and that the platform is open in summer during the operating times of section 2 of the cable car. The platform lies in Obertraun, not in Hallstatt.
