Why go
The walk in runs through Colchic boxwood forest and ends where the water comes down about twenty metres from the cliffs beside Mirveti village. A 13th-century arched stone bridge stands close by, and boat trips run on the Chorokhi below, so the waterfall is usually one part of a longer outing from Batumi rather than the whole day. Cafés and picnic spots serve local Adjarian food. It is a modest fall, better for a relaxed afternoon in green shade than for anyone chasing height.
