Why go
The deck sits at the top of the Istanbul Sapphire tower in the 4. Levent business district. The operator calls it "an iconic symbol towering at 261 meters" and offers panoramic views over "7 hills and 2 continents", with binoculars, a souvenir corner and Vista Cafe & Restaurant. Food and drink may not be taken onto the viewing terrace. SkyRide is a separate, separately ticketed attraction: a seated 4D film simulation, watched in 4D glasses, of a helicopter flight over the Bosphorus, Maiden's Tower, Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern and Topkapı Palace. It is a film, not a ride outside the building. The deck, SkyRide and an Event & Organization Center are sold as three separate online tickets. This entry covers the deck and SkyRide as a visit, not the tower's offices, the shopping centre at its base, or restaurant bookings on their own.
Getting there
The operator describes two ways in: by car to the parking lot, or by metro to 4. Levent station and then following the Sapphire signs. It places the tower "between 4th Levent and Maslak". According to the operator, parking is free for visitors with a viewing-terrace ticket. The operator does not say where the ticket desk and lifts are inside the building, so allow time to find them on your first visit.
Accessibility
