Wat Si Chum

วัดศรีชุม

Wat Si Chum is a ruined temple in the northern zone of Sukhothai Historical Park, in Mueang Kao subdistrict of Mueang Sukhothai District.

Why go

The Fine Arts Department lists Wat Si Chum among ten places to see in Sukhothai Historical Park. The Department's virtual-park page places it, with Wat Phra Phai Luang, in the northern external historic zone, one of the three areas into which the page divides admission. The Department reports that its Office of National Museums studied the deterioration of, and conserved, the Jataka scenes engraved on stone slabs inside the temple's tunnel between 22 and 29 June 2026. Wikidata records it as temple ruins and part of the park. This record is the ruin in Sukhothai, not the temples of the same name in Lampang, Phrae or Phayao.
