Gudauri Ski Area

Kudebi Mountain

Sadzele Mountain

Gudauri-Kobi Cable Car
A high-mountain lift connection crossing toward Kobi on the northern side of the Caucasus divide. When operating, it provides dramatic mountain views and creates an unusual link between the Gudauri side and the road toward Stepantsminda.
Booking: Operation depends on weather, wind and seasonal schedules. Never rely on it as guaranteed transport without checking the same day.
Accessibility: Boarding gondolas may be easier than chairlifts for some travelers, but staff assistance and step-free access should be confirmed.

Georgia-Russia Friendship Monument
A large Soviet-era mosaic monument built above the Aragvi valley near the Georgian Military Highway. The circular structure is famous for its mountain panorama and monumental artwork.

Accessibility: The viewpoint is reached from the road, but snow, ice, uneven ground and barriers can affect access.

Cross Pass
The Georgian Military Highway crosses the Greater Caucasus near Gudauri at Jvari, or Cross Pass, at roughly 2,400 metres. It has historically formed one of the major north-south routes through the mountains.
