Antalya Aquarium: the tunnel, the terrace-floor extras and tickets

What Antalya Aquarium is

Antalya Aquarium is a private indoor complex at Dumlupınar Bulvarı No. 502 in the Arapsuyu neighbourhood of Konyaaltı, Antalya, Turkey (officially Türkiye), which the operator places 70 metres from Konyaaltı Beach.[1] It opened on 15 August 2012 with 15,000 square metres of indoor space on a 30,000 square metre site.[4]

The operator lists six entertainment units under one roof: the aquarium itself, Snow World and Ice Museum, WildPark, Face 2 Face Wax Museum, the XD Cinema and VR 360.[1] The aquarium is the walk-through core. The others are add-ons, and the ticket you buy decides which of them you may enter.

The route: 40 thematic tanks, then the tunnel

The operator describes the visit as 40 thematic aquariums followed by a tunnel aquarium 131 metres long and 3 metres wide, which it calls the biggest in the world; that superlative is the operator's own.[1] The themed section is arranged as a journey: four tanks for the Indian Ocean, Red Sea, Atlantic and Pacific at the start, a large cylindrical tank of life from the waters around Antalya, underwater caves, the rivers of the world from the Nile and Amazon to Asia, a plant section, a dark corridor of morays, a rest pool with horseshoe crabs, tanks on the seas of Turkey, a tropical reef with living corals, clownfish, seahorses and octopus, sturgeon, and finally the shark tank.[5] From there visitors go down a floor by the stairs on the right to reach the tunnel.[5]

The tunnel runs through a main tank of more than 5 million litres in three parts: a tropical reef section connected to an underwater cave, where the windows bring you closest to the animals; a sunken-city and Mediterranean section leading to a pirate-wreck viewpoint with amphitheatre seating where you can sit and watch the sharks; and the third and longest section, with a submarine, where sharks and rays pass overhead.[6] A full-scale aircraft wreck stands at the start, a 1935 Italian bomber that the operator says sank off Meis.[1]

The operator gives its own timings: one to two hours for the tunnel and aquarium sections, about an hour for Snow World and Ice Museum, 20 to 30 minutes for WildPark, 8 to 10 minutes for the XD Cinema, and three to five hours for a full day with shopping and eating.[3] Daily activities such as shark feeding are listed, and the operator says to phone or check its announcements for the schedule.[3]

The extras on the terrace floor

Three of the extras sit on the terrace floor above the aquarium, and one, the snow hall, is elsewhere in the building. The table sets Skygate's names for the Full Package inclusions beside the operator's own names and descriptions, using the operator's pages for Snow World, WildPark, the cinema and Face 2 Face.[10][9][8][7]

Two rules on the terrace floor matter for families. Photography is strictly forbidden inside WildPark's Fear Trophy area because flashes endanger animals that live in the dark, and the operator asks visitors not to knock on the glass.[8] Snow World is kept at about minus 5 degrees, and the operator issues protective clothing at its entry.[7]

The operator publishes no age, height or health limits for the XD Cinema, the snow hall or VR 360 on the pages XTOUR read, so XTOUR has not verified whether a small child may ride the cinema or enter the snow hall. VR 360 appears on the operator's list of units but in neither of Skygate's options, so it is not covered by either ticket unless the supplier says otherwise.[1]

Children, strollers and wheelchairs

The operator says visitors with babies and young children can move around the aquarium comfortably with pushchairs, and that wheelchairs are kept on hand for guests who find walking difficult.[2] Its visitor questions add that the wheelchairs are complimentary, first come, first served, cannot be reserved, and that there is disabled parking.[3] The route description's stairs down to the tunnel are the point to ask about: XTOUR has not verified a lift on the aquarium route or step-free access to the terrace floor.[5]

Skygate's listing states that wheelchair access is available throughout the venue, which is broader than anything the operator publishes, so treat the terrace-floor units as unverified.[12]

A full baby-changing area is in the ladies' toilet on the rooftop, between WildPark and the Gelatte Artizan café, and babies can also be changed or nursed in the restrooms.[3] The operator's own pages give two different free-child ages, under 3 on its home page and under 4 on its other pages, so the age applied at the desk is not settled online.[1] Carry the child's passport either way.

The aquarium is dim and the operator asks visitors not to use flash, because the animals are sensitive to light.[3] Pets are not allowed, apart from guide and service dogs.[3] Disabled visitors who show a disability card or report at the entrance receive free entry or a discount depending on the degree recorded on the card.[11]

Hours and last entry: three figures, one rule

The operator states working hours of 09:00 to 22:00 every day on its home page and visiting-hours page, and says it is open on public holidays.[1] Those are dated observations from 20 September 2026; the visiting-hours page is where the current figure lives.

Last entry is where the sources disagree. The operator's visiting-hours page says the last entrance to the aquarium should be at least 30 minutes before closing.[2] Its home page says 45 minutes.[1] Skygate's listing says last admission is one hour before closing and tells buyers to check the official website for daily opening hours.[12] The safe reading is the longest one: be at the entrance at least an hour before closing, and much earlier with a full package, because the aquarium comes first and each extra has its own queue.

The operator also says an online ticket bought from its own site is valid for 10 days and that refunds exist for purchased tickets, which describes its own tickets and not the listed options below.[3] There is a security check at the entrance, and outside food, drink and gum are not allowed.[3] McDonald's, Mado and Café Artizan are inside, on the entrance and terrace floors.[3]

The two listed options, as checked on 20 September 2026

Skygate's listing has two options, and their inclusions do not overlap fully.[12]

• Admission. Covers Antalya Aquarium and the Face 2 Face Wax Museum in the same building. The Admission option does not include Snow World, the Ice Museum, the reptile house or the XD Cinema.[12]
• Full Package Admission. Covers the aquarium and the wax museum and adds Snow World, Ice Museum, Tropical Reptile House and Oceanride XD Cinema. Those four extras belong to the Full Package option only.[12]

Both option descriptions say Antalya Aquarium must be visited first and that all included attractions must be visited on the same day.[12] An unused extra does not carry to another day. XTOUR has not verified how the operator itself names or bundles these units.

Both aquarium options can be cancelled for a full refund at least 24 hours before the travel date, counted in the Europe/Istanbul time zone, and the listing adds that extra cancellation or refund fees may apply and that later cancellations are strictly non-refundable.[12] The listing's child policy is that children under 3 are free of charge, with a child rate from 3 to 12.[12] Neither option mentions transport or a timed entry, so neither should be assumed.
