Why go

This record is the Museum of 18th-Century Venice at Ca' Rezzonico, not the palazzo as a building. The museum's history page says the palazzo was begun for the Bon family to a design by Baldassare Longhena, completed by Giorgio Massari after Giambattista Rezzonico bought it in 1750, and bought by the city of Venice in 1935 to house its 18th-century art collections. The museum is run by the Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia (MUVE). Its visitor page sells a single museum ticket and a combined ticket with Palazzo Mocenigo and Carlo Goldoni's House, and says that only some reduced tickets can be bought online, while other reduced and free tickets are collected at the museum's ticket office on showing proof of entitlement. Opening days and hours are set by the museum and change, so check its site before you go.
