The Gallerie dell'Accademia in Venice is a state art museum whose collection follows Venetian art from the fourteenth to the nineteenth century; it is a different museum from the Galleria dell'Accademia in Florence. The museum's own pages say it has been one of Italy's state museums with special autonomy since 2015, and that it occupies the church of Santa Maria della Carità, its monastery and the Scuola Grande of the same name, at Campo della Carità, Dorsoduro 1050. Its tickets page says TicketOne is the only authorised reseller of online tickets, that group bookings are taken only by telephone, and that on the national free-admission days no booking is taken and entry is first come, first served.
