Why go

Casa Batlló is the building at Passeig de Gràcia 43 that Antoni Gaudí remodelled for the textile industrialist Josep Batlló. The operator's history page says the house was first built in 1877 by Emili Sala Cortés, bought by Batlló in 1903 and fully renovated by Gaudí between 1904 and 1906, and that since the 1990s it has belonged to the Bernat family, who restored it and opened it to the public. The operator's FAQ calls Casa Batlló a private institution, says all its experiences can be bought online while only the General Visit is also sold at the box office, says entry is not permitted before the selected time, and says the visit is made with an audio guide included in the ticket. The operator also lists Casa Batlló as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2005, as one of the works of Antoni Gaudí; that listing is a designation, not this record.
