Why go

Casa Milà, also called La Pedrera, is the building Antoni Gaudí designed between 1906 and 1912 for Pere Milà and Rosario Segimon, and which the operator calls his last civil work. The operator's history page says the Catalunya La Pedrera Foundation now owns the building and uses it as its headquarters and as a cultural centre open for day and night visits, with offices and shops, while it keeps its original function as rented housing. The general-admission page says the visit covers the courtyards, an apartment furnished in the style of 1911, the attic with an exhibition on Gaudí's life and work, and the rooftop. The operator's FAQ says buying tickets in advance is not essential but highly recommended, that tickets can be shown on a phone, and that the rooftop is closed in the rain for safety.
