Why go
Casa Vicens is the house on Carrer de les Carolines, in Gràcia, that Antoni Gaudí built between 1883 and 1885 as the summer home of the Vicens family; its operator calls it Gaudí's first house. The operator's 'About us' page says the Andorran bank MoraBanc bought the house in 2014 and, after three years of renovation and restoration, opened it to the public in November 2017 as a house museum, and that it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005. Its visit page offers self-guided and guided visit tickets and says the audio guide is free of charge.
