Why go
MASI Lugano is an art museum with two venues in Lugano: its main site in the LAC Lugano Arte e Cultura centre on Piazza Bernardino Luini, and the historic Palazzo Reali on Via Canova. Lugano Region says it was created by merging the Museo Cantonale d'Arte and the Museo d'Arte, bringing together the collections of the City of Lugano and the Canton of Ticino, with modern and contemporary art shown at LAC and works from the early 15th to the mid-20th century at Palazzo Reali. The city's museum page says Palazzo Reali reopened in autumn 2019 after renovation and names the Collezione Giancarlo e Danna Olgiati alongside the museum's two venues. For ticket prices the city's page refers visitors to the museum's own site, which did not open to this session. This record's point is the LAC venue; it is not the LAC centre as a whole.
