Serralves Park
Parque de Serralves
Serralves Park is the 18-hectare park of the Serralves Foundation in Porto, with formal gardens, woodland and a farm around the Serralves museum and villa.
Why go
The Serralves Foundation describes the park as 18 hectares of formal gardens, woodlands and a traditional farm, designed by the architect Jacques Greber in the 1930s, with sculptures from the Serralves Collection on permanent display. Its park page says the park can be visited by any of several circuits with different routes. The foundation's visit page sells a park-only ticket as well as a general ticket covering the park, the Treetop Walk, the museum, the Serralves Villa and the House of Cinema. This record is the park; the Museum of Contemporary Art inside it is a separate record, and the map point is a point inside the park, not a gate.
