Durian Perangin is a waterfall in north-eastern Langkawi. LADA says it takes its name from the durian trees in the surrounding forest and the cooling breeze. It describes a multi-tiered fall running down the slopes of Gunung Raya, the island's highest peak, with freshwater pools at each tier. LADA also mentions bridges over streams, picnic gazebos and resting spots along the trail, and a car park, toilets, food stalls and souvenir shops at the base. It says the climb to the top of the falls is challenging and that flow is strongest in the rainy season, around September and October.
